Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas and studied the field of physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months before she moved into Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of character roles including commercials and local independent movies. Even though she had small parts, the actress rapidly realized the passion she had for performing. The year 2001 saw her move from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Children's morning soap in the role of Rosa Santos. In the early 2000s the small part she played was appearing on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her debut series role on The Mountain The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred with a variety of notable TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. After a short run, her character migrated onto Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received several nominations for her character for her role, including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. She was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was cast as Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was in the role of Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly dark show Do No Harm. The show was later cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is from Italian heritage and is the younger sister of Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was the strict, religious home of her family. Milano started her acting professional career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter accompanied her on an audition for acting. Her audition was among over 1000 applicants. Milano was chosen as the only girl. Milano performed in television advertisements and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical rendition of Jane Eyre.
